Canal Pride, PANN.

During the 2021 Canal Pride, I captured the festivities of LGBTQ organisation PANN. This yearly festivity gathers 100.000 people, on and off the canals to celebrate diversity. Fifty boats sailed through the city, celebrating diversity. It was a great chance to capture its energy from within this perspective. Both in the footage and edit I wanted to reflect the spirit of this celebration. It aimed for a high paced explosive recap representing its core message: celebrating (sexual) diversity. Besides the fast paced segments, I also emphasised the scale of this event by slowing down and expanding the scene with some wide angle views. Showing the interaction between boats and visiting spectators.
