Duimalot, Hanna & Kardi.

I worked with some artists from different genres like classical music, EDM, and hip-hop. I captured a diverse amounts of shots within various circumstances. Spending time at venues like DB's, Tivoli Vredenburg and the National Concert Hall. I captured footage of live rap, orchestral and electronic performances. For example Kardi Paseyans Technopera, where techno beats and opera performance collide. Bringing an unique performance that played on different stages like Down The Rabbit Hole and the Concert Hall. Or the live set of performing artist Duimalot. Who always brings an explosive combination of emotion and lyrics. Furthermore, emphasising Hanna's extraordinary ability to immerse a listener in the classical sounds of Liszt. With every scene I am searching for ways to visually convey the rooms atmosphere and musics tonality. To let viewers, feel the artists musical expression. Some of these images I am bundling into an experimental short film. Connecting classical sounds with hip-hop and EDM. To showcase the universal and oneness of musical expression and experience.
